We are in Scotland

So after our post yesterday at Pearson International Airport I decided to get Barb and I our last Timmies coffee. I was gone for 45 minutes waiting for the long line and only two servers. So many travellers walking up to the counter then not being sure what they wanted!!  You have just stood in front for so long and still you waste time trying to decide? Barb thought I left her and was very close to having me paged.

Our flight was good but it is a long journey. Barb sat in the window seat, I was in the middle and yes you guessed it, the gentleman in the isle seat was rather large. I felt like a sardine for 6+ hours. We got seats with extra leg room, but it was a squeeze.  This gentleman was a very nice man.  He was deaf so he really didn't speak but motioned. He was polite though, diabetic and showed us his needle he had to take before his meal and basically motioned and apologized if it bothered us.

Getting our rental car that we had pre booked took at least an hour so we were getting a little impatient. They gave us a small SUV which was an upgrade of what we ordered.  I was not totally comfortable with our drive from the airport, mainly because of being on the wrong side of the road. I'm trying to be careful,  not really sure where the left side of the car is and getting used to driving a standard again. Oh we got a GPS included.  The man at the counter handed Barb a TomTom, no instructions just "here you go"  We managed to safely get to our Bed and Breakfast and each of us have now had a 3 hour nap. We will take it easy today and explore and drive around a bit more tomorrow.
