We started this morning taking a walking tour of Innsbruck, what a beautiful little city nestled at the base of the Alps so we have many pictures of the buildings with the Alps in the background, so wonderful!
Do you remember the church from yesterday? Well, this morning we went to another church close to the center of historical Innsbruck and we were allowed to go inside, WOW
From our morning walk we were back on our bus for a 4 hour drive to Venice. Our hotel is on the mainland portion of Venice but we were dropped off where we could get a water taxi to take us into the Canal area. We got there and walked to a section to get into our 5 Gondola's for a ride through the canals and smaller waterways of this wonderful city.
One of the Gondola's for our group even had a musician and singer to serenade us through the canals, just an added feature our tour director set up for us.
We had dinner tonight in an Italian restaurant and are completely pooped. ( our grandson's like this word ).
Tomorrow we go back to the canal city for a walking tour to areas not usually visited by tourists then we have an afternoon lunch cruise through the canals to see more sites.
And the weather has been very sunny and warm, actually hot here in Italy, 34 degrees Celsius and warmer tomorrow!

Unbelievable pictures!!! Mom, your shirt makes you look like you fit right in there! You even match the gondola driver lol! Everything sounds like so much fun...and hot!
